These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) apply to all services and product sales provided by maktabati-ana.com to its clients. Placing an order or requesting a service implies unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Services Covered
These terms and conditions apply in particular to the following services:
Creative and Web Services: website design (UI/UX), graphic design, photography, video, signage, event stands.
Printing Services: digital printing, flyers, books, posters, promotional items, etc.
Product Sales: bookstore items, educational toys, school supplies.
3. Payment Terms for Services (Design, Web, Creation)
Mandatory Deposit: All service projects (website, design, photography, creation) will only begin after payment of a deposit of 33% of the total agreed amount. This deposit is due upon signing the agreement, whether formalized by a written contract, a signed quote, or a verbal agreement confirmed in writing (email, SMS, WhatsApp).
Start of work: No work will begin until this deposit is received.
Contract and specifications: A detailed contract or quote, specifying all deliverables, deadlines, and price, will be drawn up before the start of each project. This document is legally binding, and maktabati-ana.com cannot be held responsible for any disagreements concerning elements not mentioned in this document.
Non-refundable deposit: If the client abandons the project after work has begun, the 33% deposit will not be refunded, as it corresponds to the work already completed and the time spent upstream (studies, briefs, mock-ups, research).
Subsequent Payments: Any additional payment made after the initial deposit may be subject to discussion regarding a possible partial refund, prorated to the work actually completed up to the date of cancellation, and less any expenses incurred.
4. Return and Exchange Policy for Products (Merchandise)
No Returns, but Exchanges: Physical products (books, toys, supplies) are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged under the following conditions.
Exchange Conditions:
The exchanged product must be non-defective and in its original condition (undamaged packaging, unused product).
Exchanges are possible within 14 days of receiving the product.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of an error on our part.
Defective Product: In the event of a defective product or one that does not match the order, we will proceed with an exchange or issue a credit note, after verification.
